With many years of live music experience, some mentoring experience, and my most recent qualifications, a Diploma of Youth Work and a Life Coaching Certificate, I am passionate about connecting these in empowering ways to positively impact many people’s lives. This is not just limited to youth; it can be tailored for adults, too.

Music has been a massive passion of mine for many years! I have been playing guitar since 1992, in an original band 1999 to 2000, covers bands since 2001, soloist (guitar & vocals) since 2012, worship music since 2012, and some guitar tutoring in-person from 1995 to 2010. I’m also currently working on my songs and some covers to release in the future as Singles, EP and LP etc.

Some artists who have influenced my guitar playing over the years are Richie Sambora (Bon Jovi), Slash (GN’R), Dave Gilmour (Pink Floyd), Jack Jones (S.S), Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Pearl Jam, Jeff Buckley, Ben Harper, Jack Johnson, John Mayer, Muse, Jonny Lang, Lincoln Brewster, Phil Wickham, Third Day, and many others… I listen to many different styles of music, not just with a guitar focus.

In 2022, I started guitar tutoring online and also included some mentoring. This includes recording a video after each session to email students for practice before the next session, all at their own pace and according to their preferences. I live in the Noosa Hinterland near Kin Kin. Some in-person sessions might be possible for locals.

I can also teach students to sing and play songs and change the keys of some songs to suit their vocal range. As a baritone singer, I change the keys of many songs for solo gigs.
